HVAC Technician

About This Role

This HVAC Technician role involves maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. The position ensures proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion
• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Calibrate related instruments, gauges, and control components
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment for proper operation and compliance
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify actions for modifications
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures for complex assignments and innovative solutions
• Coach others and share in-depth technical knowledge within the function

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
• Ability to meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, carrying 50 lbs+
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
• 4-5 years of job-related experience or a combination of experience and education

Nice to Have

• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience
