Human Resources Business Partner

About This Role

This role supports leadership and employees across media operations by serving as a strategic and operational partner in day-to-day workforce needs and broader people strategies. The HR Business Partner will ensure HR solutions align with operational excellence, employee engagement, and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver practical, compliant, and effective HR solutions tailored to broadcast and media operations.
• Manage routine to moderately complex employee relations matters, including performance issues, attendance, investigations, and corrective action.
• Advise leaders on appropriate responses to employee concerns, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Ensure compliance with HR procedures, company policies, and employment laws.
• Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and employee development.
• Support annual performance processes and ongoing talent conversations.
• Partner with HR centers of excellence to provide support on HR programs and initiatives at the operational level.
• Use workforce data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and translate data into practical insights for leaders.

Requirements

• 5 years of progressive HR experience (HR Business Partner or HR Generalist)
• Experience handling employee relations issues in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role

• Experience supporting media, broadcast, production, or other operational workforces
• Experience across key HR functions (benefits, recruitment, leave administration, compensation, training)
• Experience supporting leaders across multiple locations
