About This Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a fractional HR partner for diverse clients, providing customized solutions for complex people and culture problems. This role involves developing HR roadmaps, ensuring compliance, and implementing HR policies and programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to HR business partner for multiple clients across various jurisdictions
  • Analyze current HR programs and design HR roadmaps for clients based on engagement specifics
  • Ensure client organizations meet compliance standards for their jurisdiction and align HR agendas with labor law issues
  • Develop, review, and apply HR policies and procedures as necessary
  • Work on client files with complex compensation projects and conduct data analytics
  • Review HR software and processes, spearheading HRIS implementation
  • Review and/or develop performance management processes in line with current best practices
  • Design compensation plans based on market data and industry standards
  • Manage employee relations issues as they arise and provide coaching and mentorship to management & employees
  • Create and deliver HR-related training sessions
  • Attend virtual and in-person meetings with client executives and employees, acting as the lead relationship manager

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of client-facing HR business partner experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years managing work deliverables within an HR team
  • Degree or diploma in HR or related field
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law and legislation across multiple states
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Time management capabilities
  • Excellent listening, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data, documents, and reports with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong experience with managing a portfolio of clients and stakeholders
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technology and excellent spreadsheet and presentation-making capabilities
  • Ability to use and adapt to multiple HR software programs
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and best practices

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in HR or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of client-facing HR business partner experience and 2+ years managing work deliverables within an HR team.
