Housekeeper

About This Role

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas within Clyde Nursing Center to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all assigned areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner following department policy and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inspect and use judgment to determine appropriate cleaning techniques.
• Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment if required.
• Employ universal precautions for disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keep carts properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
• Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct.
• Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Adhere to component and departmental training commitments for professional growth.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers, adapting to customer needs.
