Hospice Aide CNA

About This Role

Provide essential personal care and household support to hospice patients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and comfort. This role involves direct patient interaction, daily living assistance, and meticulous documentation of client conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents
• Maintain confidentiality and use EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) system
• Ensure a safe environment for clients
• Operate medical equipment properly
• Respond promptly to client needs

Requirements

• Current driver's license
• Vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
• CNA certification in NC

Nice to Have

• 6+ months of home care experience
