About This Role

The Hospice Home Care Nurse identifies and addresses patient/family/facility care needs, providing nursing and supportive care to terminally ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient/family/facility care needs
• Provide nursing and supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families

Requirements

• Current Maryland State license as a Registered Nurse
• Two years of nursing experience
• Knowledgeable of universal precautions for infection control and practices safe nursing standards
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be patient and family focused
• Skill in the use of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and/or ability to learn

Qualifications

• Diploma, ADN and/or BSN from an accredited institution
• Two years of nursing experience, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
