Responsibilities
- Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination
- Perform specialized histology and immunocytochemistry testing
- Embed, cut, and stain tissue specimens
- Troubleshoot processes related to histopathology
- Maintain quality control records
Requirements
- ASCP certification as Histotechnician or Histotechnologist
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to perform histology and immunocytochemistry procedures
- Strong attention to quality control and compliance standards
