Join a Nashville, TN team as a Histotechnologist supporting high-volume diagnostic testing in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This role involves preparing tissue specimens, performing specialized testing, and ensuring accuracy and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination
- Perform specialized histology and immunocytochemistry testing
- Embed, cut, and stain tissue specimens
- Troubleshoot processes related to histopathology
- Maintain quality control records
Requirements
- ASCP certification as Histotechnician or Histotechnologist
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to perform histology and immunocytochemistry procedures
- Strong attention to quality control and compliance standards
