Hematologist/Oncologist

About This Role

The WMCHealth Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to provide subspecialized care for patients and contribute to the growth and development of the oncology research enterprise. Primarily based at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital, this role involves working with a multidisciplinary team and advancing cancer care through cutting-edge treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide subspecialized care for patients in their area of expertise within Hematology and Oncology
• Play a key role in the ongoing growth and development of the oncology research enterprise
• Contribute to elevating cancer care through cutting-edge treatments including precision genomic medicine, robotic surgery, and stem cell/cellular therapies
• Participate in opportunities related to bone marrow transplant, myeloma, GU, H#N, breast, and GI within the cancer program
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nurse navigators, NPs, PAs, and clinical pharmacists

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Ability to obtain a New York State medical license
