About This Role

Join Clean Harbors as a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic in Buckner, KY, responsible for repairing and performing preventative maintenance on the company's fleet, ensuring safety and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act in a safe manner at all times.
• Safely move company equipment on yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
• Complete daily checklist as required.
• Assure that equipment is properly parked/secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility via housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team environment
• 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Provide own basic tools
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
