About This Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the real estate portfolio and corporate security program for US-based offices, lab facilities, and manufacturing plants. This position ensures efficient and strategic management of real estate transactions, design and construction, space planning, facilities operations, and security measures. The role optimizes the real estate portfolio to support business growth and operational needs while ensuring a secure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive US office, lab, and plant real estate strategy aligning with business objectives and financial targets
  • Lead the Workplace & Facilities Readiness Workstream, creating welcoming offices and “hub” locations
  • Oversee real estate transactions for US offices, labs, and plants, including site selection, leasing, acquisition, disposition, and renewal
  • Lead all design and construction project delivery for US offices, labs, and plants, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget
  • Drive space planning initiatives to maximize portfolio efficiency and accommodate evolving workplace needs
  • Direct all facilities management and site operations for US offices, labs, and in-scope plant locations
  • Implement a robust corporate security strategy to protect employees, physical assets, data, and intellectual property
  • Oversee all physical security measures, including access control systems, video surveillance, and on-site security personnel
  • Enforce corporate security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of real estate and corporate security professionals

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, or corporate security
  • Ability to think strategically, align real estate and security with business goals, and influence executive decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale real estate and security strategies
  • Strong change management skills
  • Experience management and organizing workflow, process, systems and tools
  • Deep expertise in risk assessment, crisis management, and business continuity planning
  • Proven experience in negotiating complex real estate leases, contracts, and vendor agreements
  • Strong understanding of real estate and security technology, systems, and best practices
  • Strong leadership skills to build and manage a diverse team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, or corporate security, preferably within a company with diverse property types (e.g., offices, labs, plants).
