About This Role

This role involves providing instruction and support to students as a guest teacher or paraprofessional in Moore, OK. You will follow lesson plans, adapt teaching methods, and maintain a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects, including math, literacy, and special education
• Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular classroom teacher
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement
• Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and procedures
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students
• Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and any issues that arise during the day

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be 18 years old
• Pass background screens

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• No previous experience required

• Experience in education or a related field
• Experience working with children in a classroom or tutoring setting
• Knowledge of childhood development and effective teaching strategies
