About This Role

Prepare and serve high-quality grilled food items while ensuring food safety and customer satisfaction within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation such as grilled food
• Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations efficiently and friendly
• Ensure food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty through tasting all prepared food items
• Use established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records from the area worked during service periods
• Adhere to approved recipes and production standards for proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards
• Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety/rotation procedures
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers

Requirements

• Grill cook experience preferred
