Provide direct professional nursing care in an assigned clinical area, specifically High Risk OB/Labor and Delivery, assessing patient needs and administering treatments, medications, and general care according to nursing and medical orders.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in an assigned clinical area
- Assess patients' needs
- Administer treatments, medications, and general care according to nursing and medical orders
- Delegate components of the nursing regimen to paraprofessional and ancillary staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Peds Critical Care Experience
- Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2 years Peds Critical Care Experience
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
