Perform all-purpose general labor duties and blend ingredients for beverage production at a farmer-owned dairy marketing cooperative. Operate equipment safely and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and ingredients for plant or warehouse use
- Transfer and store raw and finished products
- Operate onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Communicate effectively with all departments
- Legibly write entries for record keeping
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, occasional weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
