General Cleaner

About This Role

This role is for an energetic and reliable General Cleaner to maintain the appearance and sanitation of designated facility areas, focusing on general upkeep of common spaces with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in various areas, including offices, hallways, and common rooms
• Dust light fixtures, furniture, countertops, and other surfaces as needed
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in common areas and workspaces
• Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, and other basic fixtures in kitchens and restrooms
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Ensure that cleaning products are adequately stocked and notify the manager when replenishments are needed
• Report any breakages or damages observed during cleaning and inform the manager of maintenance needs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks with strong attention to detail
• Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
