About This Role

This role involves supporting the GCP Data & AI platform, defining support requirements, establishing standards for platform health, incident management, and executing routine maintenance. The lead will also develop GCP cloud logging and monitoring reports for platform visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Define standards for platform health, managing incident resolution, and executing routine maintenance
  • Develop GCP cloud logging and monitoring reports for visibility
  • Establish initial framework for tracking Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
  • Configure self-service billing and uptime dashboards
  • Monitor GCP billing for anomalies and implement tactical fixes
  • Build and maintain "Golden Path" runbooks for operational procedures
  • Conduct solo reviews of overnight batch processing logs
  • Receive and prioritize platform-related tickets
  • Execute root cause analysis (RCA) and apply fixes for code-based failures, IAM errors, or configuration drifts
  • Act as primary technical point of contact for Google Cloud Support or Con Edison Source System teams

Requirements

  • Experience with GCP Data & AI platform support
  • Knowledge of GCP cloud logging and monitoring
