Gas Station Part Time

About This Role

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance, and assisting members with transactions and payments, while ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and assist members with gas station transactions, ensuring safety.
• Monitor gas station sales, handle cash transactions, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures accurately and regularly maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel delivery processes and perform required preparation procedures.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and security standards, informing management of any alarms.
• Perform cash drawer procedures including deposit, verification, documentation, and control.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted gas prices match the POS system.
• Follow all spill bucket and spilled material procedures for immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and obtain proper ID before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age and able to complete all required training.

Qualifications

• Previous gas station operating experience preferred. Experience operating a cash register preferred.
