GA Prek Lead Teacher

About This Role

Lead the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program for 4-year-old children, focusing on planning, assessment, and instruction to prepare them for kindergarten success. This role involves creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring other teachers, and managing the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, and instruct 4-year-old children based on their needs and program requirements
• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines, company standards, and GA Pre-K program requirements
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, approved related degree or higher credential
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Must be at least 18 years old
