Fund Accountant

About This Role

This Fund Accountant role supports a boutique private investment and family office firm, working with high-net-worth families on sophisticated financial strategies. The position involves both traditional family office functions and private investment/fund-related activities, requiring a strong accounting background and an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other ad hoc financial reports
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all ledgers
• Manage cash operations, including liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and debt compliance
• Oversee and process bill payments and expense tracking
• Support investment funding activities and maintain relevant documentation
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors by preparing requested schedules and data
• Provide administrative and analytical support to internal team members as needed
• Maintain organized records and documentation in line with firm standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and discreet demeanor
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a family office, fund, or financial services setting
