Full-Time Beverage Server

About This Role

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at The Hotel Hershey in a luxury resort environment. Provide refined service, handle orders, and process payments while upholding the company's core values.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from patrons, suggesting or describing cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, etc.
• Transmit orders to bartender and receive/place beverage orders on a service tray, adding garnishes as required
• Total checks and collect payment for beverages
• Dispense bottled beverages, confections, or any other item upon the request of the guest
• Return empty glasses and maintain neat and clean work and customer service areas
• Serve hors d'oeuvres and snacks at private or catered parties as requested

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 to serve alcoholic beverages
• Verifiable work experience as a server
• Ability to pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period
• Ability to work and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to handle monetary transactions
