Join the Park Services Utility Department to ensure Hersheypark venues are clean and presentable for guests, focusing on pre-opening clean-up duties. This role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Empty trash cans and clear midways of trash and debris throughout Hersheypark and its parking lots
- Hose down midways and patios before park operations begin
- Pick up small trash and debris in queue lines and midways using a broom, dustpan, or picker
- Wipe down countertops, clean windows, and freshen up trash cans
- Assist in supporting Garbage Truck operations when needed
- Clean up during and after events throughout the Entertainment Complex
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older on the date of applying
- Ability to work early mornings (starting as early as 5 AM)
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, primarily outdoors
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
- Comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals and potential exposure to bodily fluids and other spills
