Full Stack Engineer

About This Role

This role involves working with customers and business analysts to understand requirements and drive technical solutions as part of the full systems life cycle, focusing on design, coding, testing, and maintenance of application software.

Responsibilities

• Perform web application development activities of open-source software platforms
• Design, develop, test, review, and test software platforms
• Support and maintain applications
• Analyze business and technical requirements, providing appropriate written documentation of project development
• Perform code testing on components, ensuring proper implementation standards are met
• Evaluate design alternatives for development cost and solutions using various methods
• Support and maintain existing applications, working with web developers and responding to requests from users

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of relevant full stack software development experience
• Programming skills using Python, Golang/ JavaScript, C/C++, Java, or C# with advanced skills in at least one of these languages
• Knowledge of web applications, REST API, microservices, and containers
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Spark, Hadoop, and data analysis
• Knowledge of configuration management utilities such as Chef, Salt, and/or Ansible
• Knowledge of container-based deployment solutions such as Docker & Kubernetes
• Unix/Linux programming, open source, and version control experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of relevant full stack software development experience
