Full Stack Engineer

About This Role

Own and scale an internal software platform by evolving current development code into a production-ready, scalable, secure, and maintainable multi-platform architecture (Web, Mobile, Kiosk). This role involves full-stack development, architectural decisions, and promoting engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership of deliverables and results
• Evolve the Internal Software platform end-to-end
• Convert prototype code into robust, production-ready applications
• Design and build scalable multi-tenant backend services
• Develop fully custom React frontends
• Lead the migration from Neon to AWS RDS
• Own DevOps pipelines and AWS deployments
• Implement secure mobile sync logic along with associated APIs
• Establish comprehensive observability, alerting, and monitoring systems
• Drive key architectural decisions and promote engineering best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development
• Advanced Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in CSS
• Experience in Software Development and programming best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute across various stages of the development lifecycle
• Expert-level React and TypeScript (hooks, context, state management, SPA architecture)
• Experience structuring enterprise-scale React applications
• Ability to design reusable component systems using Radix, Tailwind, and modular architecture
• Strong experience with React Query for server state caching
• Form development with schema validation (React Hook Form + Zod)
• Strong experience with API architecture using Node.js and Express
• Ability to design REST APIs serving web, mobile, and kiosk clients
• Drizzle ORM or similar ORM experience
• Data validation using Zod schemas
• Strong knowledge of authentication, RBAC, and multi-tenant patterns
• Experience with scalable API design, pagination, caching, and logging
• Able to implement background processing and job queues
• Solid PostgreSQL experience (schema design, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience designing multi-tenant architecture
• Drizzle ORM schema organization and migration control
• Redis caching strategies, TTL implementations, and key/value patterns
• Understanding of audit logging, soft deletes, versioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with 3D/visualization libraries (Three.js)
• Strong AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, Security Groups)
• Experience deploying containers to ECS Fargate
