Full Stack Engineer

About This Role

As an experienced Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy custom Android launcher solutions and advanced applications for enterprise mobility use cases. You will maintain a high-quality codebase, lead design discussions, and drive digital innovation within a client-facing project delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Android launcher solutions for enterprise mobility use cases, including packaging, signing, and controlled distribution at scale
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code for Android applications and supporting components
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring stability, security, and usability in large-scale enterprise deployments
• Engineer solutions that work across multiple Android versions, device types, and screen sizes, ensuring consistent behavior and user experience
• Apply Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices to develop intuitive, efficient, and maintainable user interfaces
• Lead design discussions, define technical approaches, and execute development against approved designs while navigating and improving complex existing codebases
• Establish and maintain a high-quality codebase through code reviews, refactoring, performance optimization, and testing practices
• Oversee the implementation of enterprise standards across domains including operations, infrastructure, data, applications, development, security and risk, and business continuity
• Drive digital innovation by leveraging new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IT estate
• Document architecture, application design decisions, deployment procedures, and operational support processes for internal knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years Android platform development experience
• 5+ years Android version/device compatibility experience
• 5+ years Android UI/UX experience
• 5+ years Java experience
• Ability to align solution design and implementation to enterprise architecture standards and security/risk requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android platform development, Android version/device compatibility, Android UI/UX, and Java
