About This Role

Own end-to-end development of iOS and Android applications for Calyptus, designing and scaling infrastructure to deliver fast, reliable performance worldwide. This role involves leading technical discussions, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with product and design teams to ship impactful features.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of iOS and Android applications
• Design and scale infrastructure to deliver fast, reliable performance worldwide
• Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship impactful features
• Maintain code quality through reviews, refactoring, and enforcing best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience building production React Native applications with real users
• Deep understanding of backend performance and optimization
• High quality standards with the ability to maintain near-perfection while shipping on time
• Creativity, strong design sense, and passion for building seamless mobile experiences
• Experience scaling infrastructure, including databases (Postgres), hosting, and networking
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production React Native applications with real users

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ethereum development
• Familiarity with Next.js and React for web
• Native mobile development experience (Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android)
• Track record of technical leadership or mentorship
• Contributions to open-source projects
