Fulfillment Associate

About This Role

As a Part-Time Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, staging, and fulfilling customer orders, while ensuring a high level of customer service and maintaining safety and organization in the staging areas. This role supports inventory accuracy and requires operation of powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time
• Keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe
• Deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items, validating orders, answering questions
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck)
• Follow all safety requirements related to powered equipment operation
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance
• Partner with leadership to resolve short picks
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and order follow-ups
• Report safety or theft concerns promptly
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

• 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)

Qualifications

• 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information; 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 Months of Retail experience
• 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer
• 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
