Forklift Operator Day Shift

About This Role

This role involves operating a forklift, unloading and sorting incoming shipments, and preparing products for delivery to ensure high-quality specialty food items reach customers efficiently. You will contribute to a dedicated warehouse team, supporting smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away
• Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders
• View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets for delivery
• Organize, stage, and transport orders for pickup by delivery drivers

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull up to 30 lbs. of force
• Ability to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment (0-36 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Ability to ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 inches
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach and bend
