About This Role

Join the Surgical Short Stay (SSU) Observation Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing competent nursing care, post-procedural monitoring, and short-term treatments in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Perform competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process
Monitor post-procedural patients
Administer short-term treatments
Coordinate care, teaching, and health promotion
Utilize clinical knowledge and skills to meet required standards

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
Registered Nursing License
BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)

Nice to Have

Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or MSN
1 year of acute care RN experience
Medical Surgical experience
Stroke/Telemetry experience
