Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

About This Role

This role involves identifying and implementing physician-directed respiratory care interventions. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide professional respiratory care for patients of all ages, ensuring appropriate age-specific assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement physician directed respiratory care interventions for patients
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other health care team members for professional respiratory care practice
• Perform appropriate age specific assessment and treatment of patients

Requirements

• State license at time of hire
• Active NBRC RRT at time of hire (or within 6 months for new graduates)
• BLS certification at time of hire

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required; non-degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006, and military RT program graduates with RRT credentials will also be considered.
• 1 year of clinical respiratory care experience is preferred
