About This Role

The Investment Advisory Analyst provides investment guidance and support to senior professionals and high-net-worth clients for an RIA. This role involves preparing financial materials, researching investment products, and coordinating recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide investment guidance to senior professionals and high-net-worth clients
  • Prepare balance sheets and assist with inquiries related to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and market developments
  • Research investment products and evaluate their suitability for client portfolios
  • Conduct broader investment research across asset classes and planning topics
  • Prepare materials for internal investment committees and retirement plan oversight meetings
  • Draft client communications, including memos, performance updates, newsletters, and digital content
  • Document client interactions and maintain detailed records of advisory activities
  • Facilitate transactions across the firm’s investment offerings
  • Coordinate the implementation of investment recommendations with external service providers

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in investment consulting, wealth management, or a related advisory role
  • Strong understanding of investments, asset allocation, and financial planning concepts
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and engage proactively with clients
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment consulting, wealth management, or a related advisory role

Nice to Have

  • CFA, CAIA, or CFP credentials
  • Interest in pursuing CFA, CAIA, or CFP designations
  • Willingness to obtain Series 65 license
