Assist the Global Finance Controller in financial operations by providing insight on margin trends, consolidating data for new business development analysis, and managing fixed cost analysis. Facilitate process standardization within the Global Business Unit and support key initiatives such as connected product lines and pricing strategy analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide insight on margin trends, isolating variation by region, key account, and product
- Consolidate data and prepare analysis for monthly/quarterly management reports related to new business development
- Manage BU/Corporate requirements to isolate fixed cost variation by function and region
- Prepare global slides with analysis commentary for monthly reporting (RCG)
- Consolidate volume, sales, and margin (VPM) for budget preparation and ensure budget deck consistency
- Own reporting governance and consistency for VPM and reconciliation with P&L, BU customer and product segmentation, and fixed cost by nature, region, and manufacturing costs segmentation
- Analyze BU processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve consistency
- Coordinate collection of data (sales, fixed costs) to create Global Databases
- Carry out worldwide studies on accounting practices and SAP usage
- Support global functions such as product line marketing and key account managers on initiatives like Connected Product line / sourcing model and pricing strategy analysis
Requirements
- BS or BA in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit roles
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with senior business managers
- Solid analytical skills
- Ability to communicate essential financial concepts
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Works, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data and computer tools
- Ability to lead self and work collaboratively
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- BS or BA in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred in Finance, Accounting, or Audit roles
Nice to Have
- Experience in supporting a business unit or advanced business analysis
- Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, & Power BI
