Field Service Technician

About This Role

This role involves removing existing payment hardware and installing new PIN pad units in various retail locations across Texas. The technician will verify connections, perform testing, and document installations following detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing payment hardware and install new PIN pad units
• Verify cable connections and confirm device functionality
• Maintain clean cable routing and eliminate slack or hazards
• Use approved cable-management materials
• Perform test transactions with the Manager on Duty
• Complete verification forms for each register
• Capture and upload required documentation and photos
• Follow detailed step-by-step installation instructions

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Level 2 PC Technician or equivalent
• Hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and support experience
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Level 2 PC Technician or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Cable-management experience
• Payment hardware experience
