As a Field Service Technician, you will troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, perform installations, and conduct repairs and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment. You will provide excellent customer service and contribute to the company's reputation in the material handling industry.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, installations, and perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment based on customer demand and need
- Provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner while working in a team environment
- Analyze problem situations pertaining to breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend action to correct the situation
- Exhibit a professional demeanor, promoting goodwill between the company and customers by providing a superior level of customer service
- Perform necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner
- Maintain parts and supplies inventory in service van and maintain van service
Requirements
- Valid driver license
Qualifications
- 1-3 years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience or equivalent in college or vocational education.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management and co-workers
- Ability to maintain a good understanding of industry innovations and product availability
