Field Service Technician

About This Role

The Field Service Technician supports two Bon Secours hospitals by ensuring the safe and timely exchange of medical waste containers and proper waste segregation. This active role involves inspecting containers in clinical areas, managing inventory, and maintaining a professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff for safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces.
• Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure all areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.

• Team player who can also work independently.
• Strong attention to detail for paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation.

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
