Manage a high-performing field sales team to drive financial performance within an assigned geographic area, primarily focusing on low-share, high-potential customers. This role involves coaching, developing, and overseeing up to 15 Field Account Representatives.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and expand financial performance of assigned geographical area ($15M – $20M) focused on low-share, high-potential customers
- Lead the bench-building, hiring, management, and development of direct reporting Field Account Representatives (FARs)
- Manage up to 15 outside FARs within an assigned geographic area
- Teach, coach, onboard, counsel, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Plan, solve problems, and perform analysis to drive sales aligned with goals
- Develop effective internal partner relationships and strong customer relationships
- Review financial reporting to analyze needs, costs/budgets, and economic earnings
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience
- 4+ years of outside sales experience
- 2+ years of prior managerial experience
- Ability to apply computer software and technology tools to support sales objectives
- Understanding of customer needs and ability to communicate with stakeholders
- Ability to deliver business-focused presentations
- Experience with change management
- Experience in performance management
- Ability to drive team performance by fostering engagement and accountability
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of work experience, including at least 4 years of outside sales experience and 2 years of prior managerial experience or equivalent experience
