Field Marketing Representative

About This Role

Support store sales and customer outreach for The Restaurant Store in District Heights, MD by communicating the advantages of shopping with the company and helping customers achieve business success.

Responsibilities

• Travel to businesses within the local market to increase sales with current customer base and develop new relationships with prospective customers
• Call or conduct video/virtual meetings with prospective customers to discuss their product needs and develop rapport
• Use Office 365 tools and iOS devices properly
• Develop a clear understanding of the product line offered in-store and the gross profit associated with privately labeled products
• Communicate effectively with the Sales team to ensure follow through on leads generated by the Field Marketing Representative
• Communicate effectively with Branch management team regarding updates for customer base, including new customer prospects and lapsed customers
• Communicate pertinent information to the TRS marketing department through established reporting methods
• Plan, organize, and execute specific marketing and sales programs
• Research and communicate competitor information to sales and inventory teams within the branch by providing relevant competitor invoices and identifying where prospective customers are sourcing products from
• Navigate TRS.com intelligently and assist customers in establishing online accounts and setting up quick pick lists

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Valid Driver's License
• 2+ years experience in food service equipment sales or relevant hospitality experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office/O365 platforms
