Manage the physical merchandising for a retail branch location, ensuring effective product replenishment, promotional displays, and efficient order fulfillment during overnight hours. This role involves leadership, operational problem-solving, and ensuring the overall organization and safety of the store.
Responsibilities
- Optimize sales based on effective product replenishment throughout the branch location
- Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing inventory replenishment tasks
- Maintain promotional displays throughout store that highlight promotional items in an effective manner
- Support order fulfillment methods of location by managing order pulling as needed throughout shift
- Communicate effectively with other department managers to ensure needs of customers are met in a timely and ongoing basis
- Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager to support the safety and maintenance of the building and equipment
- Manage employee relation issues as needed
- Support the development and training needs of the overnight team related to operational goals and position requirements
- Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
- Manage building safety by holding keys to the building and using alarm codes as outlined in company policy
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store
Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly adapt to business needs and address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
- Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management with a specific focus on merchandising management
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRM systems and project management tools
