Conduct geophysical surveys and investigations to support geological, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing projects. Analyze data to provide images and models of subsurface conditions for vital infrastructure planning and design.
Responsibilities
- Perform various geophysical technologies to support geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations.
- Conduct non-invasive geophysical surveys from ground surface and geophysical logging in boreholes.
- Define survey objectives and design survey approaches.
- Analyze resulting geophysical data and provide interpretation of results.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
- Participate in pre-task planning and report safety issues.
- Understand and practice quality acumen.
- Support consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
- Perform site visits, field observations, and field data collection.
- Assist in geophysical data collection and tests for project evaluation and permitting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics.
Nice to Have
- Certification in field of expertise based on state specific requirements
