The Feed Prep Operation Technician at Clean Harbors' new incineration unit in Kimball, NE, performs hands-on operations including drum pumping, dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans using forklifts and pallet jacks. This role involves significant outdoor work in various weather conditions and offers an opportunity for recent graduates or college students to gain experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes
- Perform basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, and proper inventory warehousing
- Operate a forklift when necessary, performing and documenting daily safety checks
- Complete and submit all associated paperwork for waste tracking movements and use scanning applications
- Ensure work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures
- Review all applicable SOP's and satisfactorily complete quizzes
- Ensure, understand, and take ownership for area-specific permit required compliance standards
- Meet or exceed production goals
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
- Understand Clean Compliance Standard
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
- Ability to climb up and down vertical ladders
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waist
- 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected with critical depth perception
- Respirator fit test upon hire (clean shaven face required)
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen and physical
- Valid Driver's License
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Entry level position, willing to train on forklift operation. Great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience.
