This role is for an experienced bookkeeper to join AS Advisors Group in their Dublin, Ohio office. The goal is to ensure accurate financial data, manage financial transactions, and support accounting functions for a growing company that aims to transform financial and legal industries.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions accurately and timely in the general ledger
- Maintain intercompany schedules and process related entries
- Set up vendors and process invoices
- Handle semi-monthly check runs and respond to vendor inquiries
- Record daily bank deposits and monitor outstanding balances
- Reconcile the accounting system with the CRM
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare key account reconciliations for month-end close
- Prepare financial data, research discrepancies, and create reports for management
- Manage incoming mail and maintain the accounting email inbox
- Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with reconciliations, accounting functions, and ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Reliability and initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
