Executive Director

About This Role

Lead and direct the overall operations of Boden Senior Living of Maplewood, a memory care community, ensuring excellent resident care and achieving business objectives. This role involves monitoring departmental activities, managing budgets, and developing positive community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor each department’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, assist, observe, coach and discipline as needed
• Develop an environment that allows for creative thinking, problem solving, and empowerment in the development of the facility management team
• Oversee and conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, and staff morale
• Monitor Human Resources to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and maintain high morale and staff retention
• Develop positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the community
• Manage facility budgets and business practices including labor costs, payables, and receivables
• Ensure a marketing strategy for the facility is developed and implemented to maximize census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues

Requirements

• Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or related field
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising
• Passion and experience in working with memory care
