EVS Aide

About This Role

This role involves cleaning and servicing various areas within a healthcare facility, including guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative spaces. The primary purpose is to maintain a clean and aseptic environment and assist with special cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner
• Maintain Environmental closet and equipment in a clean, aseptic and orderly manner
• Assist with restock of cafe and bar (where necessary)
• Assist with special cleaning projects and room turnover
• Follow all current Joint Commission / CMS regulations pertaining to Environment of Care and Cleaning requirements

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak/understand verbal communication in English
• Experience in operating environmental services equipment (including dust mop, wet mop, bucket and wringer, spray bottles, and dustpan)

Qualifications

• None required (ability to read, write and speak/understand verbal communication in English)
• 1 year relevant experience preferred; experience operating environmental services equipment required.

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year relevant experience
