Maintain the cleanliness of hospital facilities to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff, adhering to all regulatory agency requirements.
Responsibilities
- Follow safe workplace practices according to regulatory guidelines
- Clean and restock all assigned areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices, according to departmental standards
- Maintain work assignment sheets for daily duties in assigned areas
- Follow departmental procedures for the six-step cleaning process and additional steps
- Clean patient beds
- Transport equipment and furniture
- Dispose of biomedical and solid waste materials
- Wear assigned uniform and maintain a neat appearance
- Set up conference rooms
- Clean gross organic soil following departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Six months housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred.
Nice to Have
- Six months housekeeping or maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED
