Entry Level Phlebotomist - PM Availability

About This Role

This role involves screening new and repeat plasma donors, performing phlebotomy services, and contributing to the efficient operation of a plasma donation center. The position ensures donor and team safety while focusing on customer service and quality.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety
• Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes
• Work a variety of shifts including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to support donors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Prolonged glove wear for 90% of work tasks due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
