Entry Level Operations

About This Role

This is an entry-level operations position at International Paper's Mansfield Mill, requiring general physical activities and offering a state-of-the-art training program for rapid advancement and increased wages.

Responsibilities

• Perform general physical activities inherent in an entry-level position
• Monitor, adjust, and control operating equipment
• Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance
• Climb, lift, balance, walk, stoop, and handle materials as part of on-the-job training

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Eligible for employment in the US
• Willingness to operate or work in industrial conditions (warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces)
• Willingness to undergo drug screens and job-related health assessments
• Willingness to work any shift and/or rotating shift schedule, overtime, holidays, and weekends
• Willingness to wear required safety equipment

Qualifications

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated stability through a consistent work history with at least 2-years consecutive employment
• Demonstrated combination of technical training and school leadership activities
• Other technical training or certifications such as Ready to Work programs
