Converting Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise an assigned shift of hourly employees in the daily production of corrugated board, ensuring goals are met in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead one assigned shift of hourly employees in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement
• Supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work
• Evaluate employee performance; reward and discipline employees; promote safety, quality production and teamwork; resolve conflicts
• Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance
• Effectively communicate operational information in both oral and written format at all levels
• Actively promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Corrugated industry experience
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, corrugated industry experience required, supervisory experience preferred
