About This Role

This role is for an English and French Language Bilingual Expert to support a leading AI research organization in evaluating AI-generated French content. The expert will ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance for usage in France, directly contributing to improving advanced AI language systems.

Responsibilities

• Review French translations for accuracy, fluency, and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, tone inconsistencies, or awkward phrasing
• Recommend improvements to ensure idiomatic and contextually appropriate language usage
• Provide structured written feedback on phrasing, clarity, and regional norms
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency when reviewing content

Requirements

• Native-level or near-native proficiency in French and English
• Strong familiarity with contemporary French as spoken and written in France
• At least 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or editorial review
• Strong attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance
• Excellent reading comprehension and written feedback skills
• Proficiency in English sufficient for professional collaboration
• Legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in your country of residence
