Engineering Technologist I

About This Role

This is an entry-level Engineering Technologist role that provides technical support and oversight with high direction and close supervision. The incumbent will apply developing technical expertise to solve simple problems and will be expected to develop skills and work with some independence.

Responsibilities

• Apply developing technical expertise to solve simple problems
• Provide oversight of work in a specific area of developing expertise
• Develop skills in the field of study
• Work with some degree of independence

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with no experience, or 2+ years equivalent industry experience without a degree

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with no experience, or 2+ years equivalent industry experience without a degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the utility industry
• Understanding of basic principles of project management
