About This Role

This internship offers hands-on technical experience and professional development, providing innovative engineering solutions for the Laboratory's scientific and national security mission within a Nuclear Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work in a Nuclear Facility
  • Participate in mentoring, hands-on technical experience, and professional development opportunities
  • Support operations and maintenance activities for TA-55 Facility Operations
  • Provide design and project engineering services for Facility Operations and the Plutonium Facility mission

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in any engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, and Fire Protection Engineering in greatest demand)
  • Enrolled in and successfully complete a minimum of 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester (or equivalent of full-time enrollment)
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Pass a new employment drug test

  • Accredited bachelor's degree program in any engineering discipline
