This role focuses on designing, developing, prototyping, and implementing new or revised production processes for efficient and economical mass production of goods. It involves optimizing manufacturing equipment layout, defining production operations, and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing production processes
• Make prototypes for production processes
• Implement new or revised production processes for efficient mass production
• Design arrangement of manufacturing equipment for optimal layout
• Design the sequence of production operations
• Specify procedures for fabricating tools and equipment
• Adapt machinery in response to factory conditions
• Conduct tests throughout production stages to determine control over variables
• Troubleshoot and solve production problems
• Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications
• Ensure production processes and procedures comply with regulations
